All dogs must go through an temperament/intake evaluation before staying with us in daycare. This process ensures your dog will enjoy his time in daycare and will be a good fit for our daycare community!

Before attending your intake, please be sure to create an online account and check with your veterinarian to ensure your dog is up to date on required vaccines.

Spay & Neuter Policy: Males over 6 months of age must be neutered before being evaluated for daycare. However, your dogs health is our number one priority, we recognize the health benefits to waiting to spay/neuter until the dog has reached maturity. Male puppies starting in daycare under 6 months old are able to stay intact throughout their lives, depending on their behavior. It is common for males to need to take a break, until neutered, during their adolescence between 7 and 10 months old. Females are allowed to stay intact throughout their lives but must stay home while in heat and are able to return 2 weeks after bleeding stops and have received many baths and alerted the staff they have finished a heat cycle.

Vaccine Requirements:

To attend daycare, classes or private lessons, your dog is required to be current on their veterinarian given* Rabies, Distemper-Parvo, and Bordetella* vaccines. Puppies are not required to have the Rabies vaccine until they are 6 months old. We do not require, but do recommend speaking to your veterinarian about the Canine Influenza vaccine.

*All vaccines are required to be given and/or recorded by a certified veterinarian. Home or breeder administered vaccines cannot be accepted.

*Speak to your vet about the Bordetella vaccine to ensure it has been given. The Bordetella vaccine is not one of the core vaccines given to all dogs. This vaccine is given to dogs in close contact and is regularly required by all daycares and training facilities. Click below to learn more about the Bordetella Vaccine and Kennel Cough.

Now the fun begins!

After arriving at your appointment we will spend about an hour getting to know you and your dog. We go at the dog’s individual comfort levels - boisterous and confident dogs take less time than a more reserved pooch - we want everyone to be comfortable and have a good time when they are here.
